I went to go see YGO 3D yesterday~ It was fun! I will elaborate later.
With the ticket, we got a sample of the 5D's manga.
Dear 5D's manga/VIZ:
why do you call them turbo duels
and duel runners
and New Domino City
why
(thank you for changing 'feel' to 'sense' though)
(it's a little less creepy that way)
Call me a purist if you want; those names just don't sound right to me. New Domino I can be okay with, but duel runners and turbo duels? Not so much. To me, they will always be D-wheels and riding duels.
Now VIZ, if you use the dub names for characters I'm going to throw a bitchfit. You used the original names in the DM manga, the R manga, and I think the GX manga (I'm not sure because I haven't read it), so VIZ, if you break the chain of 'screw the dub names, let's stay true', I will be very upset.
That and I think the Japanese names are prettier.
...I have a habit of complaining about really petty things, don't I.
